Muay Thai kickboxing hero trains in a boxing gym.  The love interest May Kim's student is a bit of a wild guy who enjoys free style fighting but with two different cultural backgrounds the star and his rival eventually with the wild student eventually become lovers until May Kim's ex sufddenly appears and the show is on.
