Etsushi Toyokawa (Dog Star, Moon Child) takes on the mantle of Tange, a Zatoichi-like samurai master who is missing an arm and an eye, but kicks butt nonetheless. Based on a Japanese newspaper serial that began originally in 1927 and has since been remade into film several times.
