FINDING BALANCE

In today's world, finding balance in our careers, family life, friendships and personal life can be challenging. With the constant need to get things done, have more, do more and be more, it  can cause stress and sickness for many people. The holidays are approaching and this usually adds to the juggling act as we struggle to fit it all in.  The secret is in finding the balance.  How do we do this? Setting our priorities, bounderies, learning to say 'NO' once and a while and most important, giving back to ourselves are some ways we can make this happen. If we do not give back to ourselves, we run on empty. This isn't good for our physical, mental, emotional or spiritual well being. Some great ways of helping us to find balance again are taking up an exercise such as Martial Arts, Yoga, Tai Chi or any of the Internal Arts etc. Meditation and holistic hands on healing therapies such as Massage, Reflexology Reiki therapies to name a few, are terrific ways to help us to slow down and get back into balance again.  All of these ideas help to recharge our batteries, increase our 'Chi' or life force energy so that we can bring all of the areas in our lives into balance again. It is in finding the balance that we will bring more energy, happiness and  productivity into our lives.
