Domenic Valera
Domenic Valera 1947 –
“The Master of Ashi Barai”
Dominique Valera is a Frenchkickboxer and karateka, based in Lyon France. He has a 9th Dan black belt in karate and is the winner of multiple European and World Karate Championship titles.
Since retiring from competitive karate Dominique Valera has starred in several French movies including “Let Sleeping Cops Lie”.
His fighting skills were second to none as he was always known as a rough and tumble type of fighter but his pattened foot sweep punch combination was considered to be the best in the world.
He became famous for a rough and tumble match in Los Angeles where he ended getting into a fight with the referee. To say he had a hot temper is a total understatement but his skill was top level.
He even fought Bill Superfoot Wallace in a kickboxing match loosing out in a narrowly decided match.
